Job Description:

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for client and carrier reporting, transportation system maintenance, detailed rating analysis, and operational support. He/She will be expected to run all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports out of various systems and compile accurately to provide to clients. He/She will also run updates to the system including rates, zones, fuel, and accessorials to ensure accurate rating for all carriers and clients. Operational support is a must, as this role maintains the complex detailed understanding of the transportation system’s rating logic, and troubleshoots issues as necessary.

The successful candidate should be a motivated self-started, able to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly. Maintaining timelines and balancing multiple ongoing projects effectively is a must. Attention to detail is also required to ensure reporting and system maintenance as accurate.


  • Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 PM (M-F)


2+ years of experience would be nice to have in transportation/logistics.

Ideally a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or finance.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft excel and outlook.

Strong reporting experience using Excel, problem solving, basic research, attention to details and time management skills.
