Job Summary
This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. He/She performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. He/She practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.

• Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.

Location: 2281 Stevenage Drive, Ottawa, ON

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

• Complies with UPS appearance guidelines

• Excellent customer contact and driving skills

• Ability to read and navigate with map books

• 5 days a week

• Start time between 8:00 AM and 10:00AM. Finish time will vary daily depending on volume

• Class 3 license required

• Clean Driver’s Abstract showing:

• a) No accidents and no demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)

  b) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)

Compensation:

• Wage 16.00$/hr.

• 28.03 per hour top rate, unionized position

• Paid weekly via direct deposit
