Job Description:

Job Summary
This position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations along a specified route. He/She performs physical, fast-paced environment involving continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively while walking with a cart through neighborhoods, apartment complexes, malls, and business areas

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods

Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reaonsable accommodations, to include the ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

• Complies with UPS appearance guidelines

• Availability to work flexible shift hours (3 to 5 hours during the day), 5 days per week (Monday through Friday)

• Strong customer service skills

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good with numbers (addresses and postal codes)

• Must be legally eligible to work within Canada

• Must have reliable transportation to and from 'pickup' location

• Must be 18 years of age or older
