Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing physical inventories, performing cycle counts, and ensuring data accuracy. You will also serve as a key contact for customer accounts and help resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Work Location: 399 Glover Rd, Hamilton, ON L0R 1P0, Canada
Workdays: Monday through Friday
Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute cycle count activities in alignment with the overall inventory plan, generating schedules based on weekly and monthly progress targets.
Identify and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory-related communications for assigned client accounts.
Address client requests and concerns related to:
- Ad-hoc cycle counts
- Investigating mis-shipments and verifying inventory at the SKU level
- Updating or removing Stock Keeping Units (SKU) in the SKU Master based on client instructions
- Processing product damage adjustments
- Adjusting returned items into available inventory
- Support and participate in monthly and quarterly physical inventory audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or international equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and rapid, accurate data entry skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with MS Access and PowerPoint is a plus.
